Oh Christmas tree...

This is angel is made from die cut felt shapes which I bought many years ago as a kit from a shop in Bath. Mum was going to do it for me but never did so I finally took the plunge and sewed it all together. 'm quite proud of it really!

Above is the Christmas tree in the conservatory which I've chosen a predominantly red colour scheme for along with the "novelty" style decorations. We are really pleased with the effect of it in this room and glad we bought a big one for this room.
This is a picture of the tree in the lounge in the silver and white colour scheme for this year.

Took the photos of the trees and other Christmassy things around the house today. Had quite an uneventful day except for the usual pre-school run and then swimming lesson time for Josh. Finished paperbag album last night so can now get that wrapped and in the post. Thinking of starting a December daily mini book which I shall make myself from chipboard covers and cardstock pages, then decorate/embellish and add photos and journalling. We shall see how fruitful this plan becomes!

Just so full!

Been out tonight with the "Witches of Eastwick" (a nickname given to myself and 3 dear friends by my DH) for a curry. Am very full now - too full for going to sleep. Good to see them all again and catch up with the gossip from school. Just caught up on reading the posts from other Blogs I read. Hair cut tomorrow - yippee - a bit of pampering! We put the Christmas trees up yesterday - totally forgot to mention that in my very first post. They are brilliant. I am very excited to have two large trees up this year. Have a white and silver theme on the 6ft tree in the lounge and a predominantly red theme with the more novelty decorations on 7ft tree in the conservatory. Will show photos soon once downloaded from the camera.

I've finally done it!

Well, after much thinking about jumping on the Blogging bandwagon, I have finally launched myself into this cyber journalling world! It is chiefly a place to showcase some photos of events in our world and my interests. Don't yet know the frequency of these postings - time will tell. Cheers for now!
